On Friday, 27 June, AltoVita, the revolutionary tech platform streamlining corporate accommodation worldwide, hosted its fifth annual Smart, Safe and Sustainable Summit at The Londoner Hotel in Leicester Square. This flagship event brought together top voices from the global mobility and business travel sectors for a dynamic day of insights, client success stories, and future-focused innovations.
The summit featured four thought-provoking panels with speakers from leading enterprises including NBCUniversal, Databricks, Stripe, and Squarepoint Capital. Discussions centred on the most topical issues in the industry, such as the use of AI and data to personalise and elevate the employee experience, policy compliance challenges, and real-time accommodation availability.
Opening the event, Co-founder and CEO Vivi Himmel reflected on AltoVita’s journey and mission:
“AltoVita means ‘high life’, and whilst our logo has modernised over the years, our core value has never changed. Our mission has always been to provide an elevated living experience to guests no matter where in the world they land. Over the past 8 years, we haven’t just built a platform. We’ve built an ecosystem, a movement, and we have a very strong product-market fit with Fortune 500 companies.”Director of Engineering Anton Reid took the stage to unveil AltoVita’s latest AI-driven innovations, showcasing how the company is leveraging Agentic AI to accelerate development, enhance automation, and deliver more value to clients. One of those developments, VitaAI is a fully realised AI engine ready to be integrated into clients’ existing ecosystems. Reid also announced the development of Outlook and Teams apps, with VitaAI already embedded in them, which enables clients to submit and manage booking requests directly within their daily workflow.
Emphasising the company’s tech-forward vision, Vivi Himmel added:
“What sets us apart is our company DNA: Speed, Transparency and Agility. We can build things fast and that's how we can adapt much faster than anyone in the industry. As we move toward Agentic AI, which is more autonomous and scalable, we will continue to improve and we can bring AltoVita to our clients’ ecosystem, be it Microsoft or Google, be it Outlook or Teams.”A highlight of the day was the highly anticipated unveiling of AltoStay, AltoVita’s dedicated guest experience app, during a special reveal at the ODEON auditorium. Designed to streamline every aspect of the guest journey, AltoStay offers real-time stay updates, AI-powered local tips, and 24/7 live support, all with the goal of reducing administrative overhead for travel and mobility managers.
“76% of travellers expect experiences tailored to their personal preferences, including in corporate accommodations, but only 56% say theirs actually do,” noted Co-founder and COO Karolina Saviova.
“That’s where AltoVita steps in. By blending technology with the human touch, we’re reimagining corporate accommodation to serve every type of traveller across business verticals and employee profiles, from Gen-Z to Senior Executives. AltoStay is the natural next step in that journey, delivering deeply personalised experiences at scale.”AltoStay is set to launch in Q4 2025, and AltoVita will be accepting beta users.
