ISKL Celebrates the Class of 2025!
On May 31, The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2025. Held at ISKL’s Ampang Hilir campus, the ceremony honored 151 students, including 11 “lifers” who have attended ISKL for 12 or more years.

High School Principal Jeff Farrington opened the event, recognizing the class’s contributions. “Whether your journey with us spanned one year or many, your unique contributions have undeniably enriched our school community,” he said.Head of School Rami Madani expressed gratitude and encouragement: “Thank you for being you and for your contributions to our school and each other. We look forward to the positive impact you will make in the world. Congratulations, Panthers!”Class speaker Hyren Gan (‘25), elected by the Student Leadership Team (SLT), shared reflections grounded in the Malay proverb “Kalau tiada rotan, akar pun jadi”-“If there is no rattan cane, roots will do.” He spoke of resilience and adaptation: “We didn’t always have the perfectly planned scripts, but we had each other. We had our roots-strong, resilient, and adaptable.” Cross, High School math teacher, was selected by the class to deliver the faculty address. “From here on out, the choices are yours. With those choices come freedom, excitement, and possibility,” she shared.The ceremony concluded with a joyful community celebration featuring photo booths, class memorabilia, and illustrated portraits of each graduate drawn by Middle School students, highlighting ISKL’s spirit of connection and creativity.Graduates are pursuing a variety of pathways beyond ISKL, supported by the school’s learner-centered approach and academic offerings, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, Advanced Placement, and Pursuits Program.
